This post will be a bit different. But do not worry I do have one of my normal posts coming up after this ! Just a matter of getting things sorted out and choosing ones I like !
Back to our current program.
When we were younger we all had our favorite tv shows, toys, movies, but nothing is the same now like it was when we were kids. I was born in the 90s so I grew up with everything from then plus a little from the late 80s. Back then there wasn't all this high-tech crap and cell phones weren't as fancy as they are. IN FACT! I remember my dad had this thing called a pager! Anyone remember those?
Anyways my point to this was my favorite television shows. I have a top 3. And this is how it goes !
#3 - The Brady Bunch !
I loved this show as a kid. And I even had a crush on the one who played Greg *blushes*. Who didn't? I just loved how two different families came together as a whole family. Although, I always thought what are the odds of him having three boys, and her having three girls THE SAME AGE! Plus I never experienced my parents splitting up or going through one passing. So watching it on TV was my way of seeing how others dealt with it.
#2 - Little House on the Prairie
This show my parents loved, not because they thought it was a good show, cause they did. But because no matter what time it was, what we were doing, especially if we were fighting, as soon as this show came up, it shut up me, my brother, and my sister instantly. My parents had found a mute button on us! #1 - ROSEANNE !
This show, this show is amazing! I loved it when I was a kid and I still love it today! I watch it every single day on YouTube and on TV. I have watched every single episode probably about 100 times and I never get bored of it.
I just love how the cast always seemed like a real family and they always dealt with real life issues and dealt with it the way a real family would. Just the energy and the chemistry they had made the show so much better !
There's so much that I miss being a kid! I mean, things weren't as 'cool' as they are now but they were ten times better! And everything last longer then it does now a days. These kids are so spoiled! Don't get me wrong I have a computer, a cell phone, a ipod, and a real nice camera. But I know that I worked for all of this where as kids that are like 9 have the newest cell phone and high end clothing. I myself don't even spend that much on clothing. Come on now 90$ for a sweater? You're joking. I bought a sweater that was 10$ and it was a similar look to the brand "Bench". Every body thought it was Bench when really it was just a 10$ sweater compared to one that is normally 90$ ! This will actually be another blog someday.
