I have a weird story to tell and I wish I had my camera at the time! All the good shots happen when you don't have a camera handy.
Any who,
My fiance and I were on our way to pick up a friend around 10pm-ish we had come to our normal stop before turning left on to the bridge. It looked as though it was snowing, which is obviously weird because it's August. As we turned left onto the bridge this "snow" became thicker and so much that we couldn't really see out the windshield. As we were driving across the short bridge it was then we realized this "snow" was BUGS! Yuk!
It was those bugs you see flying around street lights at night, mostly close to water. We thought it was so weird but cool. Our nice clean windshield was now bug covered. I really wish I got a picture of it. It was really cool. On our way back from picking up our friend the bugs had by then died down. But if you looked at the road it was covered in bugs. Gross. I called my mom and she told me it's about normal for this time of year. At first I thought she was crazy but then I remember when I was young we had the same thing happen but it was flying ants. They were all over and I wasn't allowed outside. Even more gross !
That's my story for today! Do you guys have any stories like this? Let me know I want to hear what other people have experienced!
